Detroit Global Entry Interview
Detroit has two Global Entry enrollment centers that take appointments, and this page covers both. One is at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), in domestic baggage claim in the Evans Terminal. The other is the Detroit Enrollment Center at the Ambassador Bridge, just west of downtown. They are booked separately in the Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) scheduler. Applicants come from across Metro Detroit, including Oakland and Macomb counties and Ann Arbor. Below are the live next-available dates for each center, recent availability history and CBP's official details.

Detroit Metro Airport (Evans Terminal)
The airport center is in the Evans Terminal, the airport's former North Terminal. CBP notes that GPS only gets you to the airport, so follow signs to the Evans Terminal and park in the Big Blue Deck, which CBP suggests. The office is in domestic baggage claim at the far south end, behind the escalators near Bag Belt 2.
Bring your passport book, not a passport card, plus proof of residence such as a driver's license or utility bill. If you have ever been arrested, bring the court documents.
CBP has also announced a separate walk-in Global Entry office in the McNamara Terminal. It takes no appointments and is not in the scheduler.
Detroit Enrollment Center at the Ambassador Bridge
This center sits on the U.S. side of the Ambassador Bridge, at the passenger processing facility. Listings show more than one street address, so follow CBP's directions: navigate to the Michigan Welcome Center at 2835 Bagley St, drive away from downtown on Bagley and take the immediate left. Park in the lot on your left at the end of the street, then enter the middle of the three trailers, by the door with the ramp. Coming from Canada, tell the officer at the primary booth you have an interview.
The rules here are strict. You will not be let in more than 30 minutes before your time. No weapons, food or drinks, and phones must be off. Only applicants go in, apart from minor children, so others may wait in the car. If you use Uber or Lyft, ask the driver to wait. Bring proof of citizenship, your driver's license, proof of employment and certified court disposition for any arrest.
Getting an earlier interview
Because the two Detroit centers keep separate calendars, watch both. Port Huron, Dayton and Port Clinton, Ohio are listed below with their live waits. DTW is also a major international arrival airport, so conditionally approved travelers returning from abroad can use Enrollment on Arrival. Check that your arrival airport is on CBP's current Enrollment on Arrival list before you count on it.

There will be an immediate left turn in the road, which you will take. After the curve, the facility is straight in front of you. Once you come to the end of the street, there is a parking lot directly to your left for you to park in. Just past that parking lot there are three (3) trailers. You will enter the middle trailer by the door with the ramp. If coming from Canada, advise the officer at the primary booth that you have a scheduled interview and they will tell you where to park and what to do from there.
