How long are Global Entry interview wait times?

Global Entry interview waits vary by enrollment center. Some have appointments within days, while others are booked for months. Busy airports such as JFK, LAX and Miami often have longer waits, so checking nearby centers can get you an earlier interview.

Why do Global Entry interview slots open up?

How we calculate Global Entry wait times

Availability comes directly from the official Trusted Traveler Programs appointment system. We check every Global Entry enrollment center daily.

We use the third available opening to calculate each wait time. This prevents one or two isolated cancellations from making a center appear more available than it really is.

  • Fewer than 3 openings: Limited availability
  • No openings: No availability
  • Closed or temporarily unavailable: Shown as reported by CBP

Availability changes constantly, so these wait times are a snapshot rather than a guarantee.

How is the wait time for each center worked out?

We use the third available opening rather than the first, preventing one or two cancellations from distorting the estimated wait. Fewer than three openings is shown as Limited availability.

Why does my Global Entry enrollment center show no appointments?

It means we found no open appointments in the booking window. Closed and Temporarily unavailable are separate statuses reported by CBP.

Can I get an earlier interview at a busy center?
