DFW's Global Entry Enrollment Center sits in Terminal D, on the Lower Level, in the hallway just south of the International Arrivals area. It's the default option for anyone who wants a standalone interview appointment instead of using Enrollment on Arrival on an international flight.
DFW Airport's own customs page confirms that location but doesn't publish set operating hours for the center. Other listings we checked gave conflicting hour ranges, so rather than publish a schedule we can't verify, book through the official CBP Trusted Traveler scheduler at ttp.dhs.gov, where your confirmed appointment shows the actual time slot.
Skipping the appointment: Enrollment on Arrival at booths 35 and 36
If you're already conditionally approved for Global Entry, DFW lets you finish enrollment without booking a separate interview. Travelers returning from an international flight can have their Global Entry interview conducted at Passport Control booths 35 or 36 in the arrivals hall, folded into normal entry processing.
This matches how CBP describes Enrollment on Arrival nationally: a CBP officer handles primary processing and the Global Entry interview, including biometrics, in one stop. It's worth planning around if your next international trip lands at DFW and your conditional approval notice is already sitting in your inbox, since it saves a second trip to the airport just for the interview.
How DFW's wait compares to other Texas centers
Wait times at enrollment centers move constantly, so any figure is a snapshot, not a promise. As of mid-September 2026, a live appointment tracker showed DFW's interview wait running around 6 days, against a 0-day wait at Houston Intercontinental (IAH).
Texas's border-crossing centers are not a useful backup plan. TTPRadar's own scan of the CBP scheduler on September 16, 2026 found El Paso at 56 days, Del Rio at 57 days, and Eagle Pass at 77 days to the next opening, all far behind DFW and IAH despite being in the same state.
CBP doesn't require you to book at the center nearest your home address. What to bring to your interview
Whether you interview at the Terminal D center or at booths 35/36 on arrival, bring a valid passport, or a permanent resident card if you're a lawful permanent resident, plus a second government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license.
