Finding the office

CBP has moved the Nashville office inside the airport terminal, so older directions to another location are out of date. Go to the International Arrivals area on the bottom floor of the airport, opposite the rental car counters. This is a public area of the terminal, so you do not go through TSA screening to reach it.

Once there, wait in that area. A CBP officer will come out and escort you back for your appointment.

What to bring

Bring your passport and a second government-issued ID, such as a driver's license. CBP calls out both in its notes for Nashville, so do not leave the second ID at home. CBP's general Global Entry guidance also asks for proof of residence, such as a driver's license or utility bill. If you have ever been arrested, also bring the court disposition documents. Each applicant, including children, needs their own appointment.

Getting an earlier interview

Huntsville, Memphis, Atlanta and the Cincinnati center in Erlanger, Kentucky are all within a few hours' drive and are listed below with their live waits. Each runs its own calendar, so watching Nashville plus one or two of them gives you more chances to see an earlier date. If you already hold a Nashville appointment, rescheduling to an earlier one in your Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) account is free.

If you are conditionally approved and fly home from abroad through an airport that offers Enrollment on Arrival, you can finish the interview there when you land, with no appointment. Check that your arrival airport is on CBP's current Enrollment on Arrival list before you count on it.
