Global Entry interview waits in Arizona

If you need a Global Entry interview in Arizona, Phoenix Sky Harbor is the default choice. In TTPRadar's 2026-10-26 scan, its next interview appointment was on 2026-12-07, 42 days out. Nogales had an opening the same day.

Whether the drive south is worth it depends on three things: whether you already have conditional approval, whether you are flying in from abroad soon, and how much a six-week wait costs you.

What the 2026-10-26 scan showed

TTPRadar checks the CBP scheduler daily. On 2026-10-26 it covered 115 enrollment centers, and 90 of them had availability. The median wait across all centers was 1 day, and the longest was 148 days at Salt Lake City.

Nogales, AZ2026-10-260 days

Phoenix sits among the longest waits in the scan. Nogales is among the centers with a 0-day wait. We could not confirm why the two differ, so we will not guess.

These figures are a snapshot from one day, not today's wait. Check the live Global Entry wait times board for where things stand now.

First check: can you skip the scheduler?

Phoenix Sky Harbor offers Enrollment on Arrival. If you are conditionally approved and landing on an international flight, you can complete the interview at International Arrivals, Terminal 4, without a scheduled slot. CBP lists the hours as 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily, so confirm them before you travel.

Bring every passport you travel on, plus proof of residency such as a driver's license, a mortgage or rental statement, or a utility bill. Minors do not need proof of residency. If you hold a permanent resident card, bring that too.

This only works with conditional approval already in hand. If you are still waiting on that, or you are not flying in from abroad, it does not help you, and you still need a scheduled interview appointment.

When the drive to Nogales is worth it

Nogales makes sense if you have conditional approval, no international arrival coming up, and a reason to want the interview done well before December. Six weeks is a long time if you have travel planned.

It makes less sense if you can wait until early December, or if your international trip lands at PHX anyway and Enrollment on Arrival covers you.

Two cautions. A slot that existed in our scan is not a promise that one exists when you look, so check the scheduler before you set off. And we have no verified drive time from Phoenix to Nogales, so work that out yourself before deciding it is worth the day.

Check the details before you drive

Arizona has both an airport enrollment center in Phoenix and land-port centers such as Nogales. We do not have a verified current address or set of hours for Nogales, so confirm both with CBP before you go.

We did not find reliable current hours for the other Arizona land-port centers, and only Nogales appears in the scan data, so we are not ranking them here. The full list of enrollment centers we monitor shows what is covered.

If you stay with Phoenix

If you would rather keep Phoenix, our free browser alerts watch for openings so you do not have to keep refreshing the scheduler. Paid text (SMS) alerts are also available.
