Calexico SENTRI Interview
The Calexico Enrollment Center is at the port of entry on East Carr Road in Calexico, California, across the border from Mexicali. CBP interviews SENTRI and Global Entry applicants here. This page covers SENTRI interview appointments at the center, not the SENTRI lane wait at the crossing. It shows the live wait for the next interview date, how availability has changed recently, and lets you set an alert for an earlier slot.

Getting there without ending up in Mexico
CBP warns not to use Google Maps for this center, because it may get you lost or send you into Mexico. Use CBP's route instead.
From San Diego, take I-8 east to CA-7 south toward the port of entry. From Yuma, take I-8 west to CA-7 south. Exit on Carr Rd (International Border/Cars), turn right at the top of the bridge, then turn left before the last U.S. exit and continue to the security booth.
CBP also states, in capitals, that late arrivals will not be accepted. Leave margin for the drive.
What to bring for SENTRI at Calexico
Calexico publishes one of the longer document lists. Bring originals where originals are required, since CBP says copies will not be accepted and missing documents can lead to a denial or a rescheduled appointment.
- Proof of income: pay stubs, bank deposits or tax records.
- Proof of residency: mortgage statement, rental agreement or utility bills.
- Driver's license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
- Marriage certificate and/or birth certificate, if applicable.
- School or class records, if applicable.
- A machine-readable entry document: U.S. passport, Resident Alien Card, foreign passport or required visa.
- A notarized authorization letter if enrolling a vehicle owned by a company or another person.
- Court disposition documents for any arrest, regardless of date or outcome.
Getting an earlier interview
You can interview at any enrollment center that offers SENTRI. Otay Mesa and San Luis are the closest others and are shown below with their live waits. Watch all three, since openings come and go at different times.
Hold on to the appointment you already have. If an earlier date shows up, use the reschedule option in your TTP account to move into it, rather than cancelling and hoping the new slot is still there.

Calexico Enrollment Center, 1699 East Carr Road, Calexico, CA 92231.
Why does CBP say not to use Google Maps for Calexico?

Is this the Calexico SENTRI lane wait?

How do I get an earlier SENTRI interview in Calexico?
By being there in the minutes after a slot is released, which is why checking by hand a few times a day rarely catches one. Watch more than one center if you can travel, and keep your TTP login to hand so you can confirm the moment you see a date.
