How long are SENTRI interview wait times?
It varies a lot by enrollment center and changes daily. On the board above, 4 of 15 SENTRI centers have an interview within a week, 6 are booked two weeks or more out, and 1 are publishing no dates or only isolated slots. SENTRI interviews happen at only a handful of centers along the southern border, so checking more than one can save you months.
This is the wait for a SENTRI interview appointment, not the wait in the SENTRI lane at a border crossing. CBP publishes lane waits separately; this page is about getting enrolled in the first place.
Why do SENTRI interview slots open up?
- Cancellations and reschedules. A dropped appointment reopens instantly, often months ahead of the next available date.
- New appointment batches. Centers periodically load new blocks of interview slots.
- Demand and capacity changes. Waits shift as applications are approved and interview capacity moves.
Cancellation slots can disappear within minutes.
How to get an earlier SENTRI interview
- Look beyond your closest center. The interview is the same wherever you take it. Sort the board by “Soonest first” to see which centers have dates now.
- Be ready to book immediately. Keep your Trusted Traveler Programs login to hand.

Every SENTRI enrollment center is on the board above, across California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. SENTRI runs at far fewer centers than Global Entry, so what you see is all of them.
Each center has its own guide with directions, CBP’s document notes and how often it has had open dates: Eagle Pass, Del Rio, Phoenix, San Luis, Hidalgo, Tucson, El Paso, Calexico, Albuquerque, Brownsville, Douglas, Otay Mesa, Nogales and Laredo.

How we calculate SENTRI wait times
Availability comes directly from the official Trusted Traveler Programs appointment system. We check every SENTRI enrollment center daily.
We use the third available opening to calculate each wait time. This prevents one or two isolated cancellations from making a center appear more available than it really is.
- Fewer than 3 openings: Limited availability
- No openings: No availability
- Closed or temporarily unavailable: Shown as reported by CBP
Availability changes constantly, so these wait times are a snapshot rather than a guarantee.

How often do SENTRI interview wait times change?
Constantly. We rebuild this board daily, but individual appointments open and disappear all day long as people cancel and reschedule, so treat the waits here as a snapshot rather than a promise.
How is the wait time for each center worked out?
We use the third available opening rather than the very first, so one or two isolated cancellations cannot make a center look far more available than it really is.
Why does my SENTRI enrollment center show no appointments?
It means we found no open appointments in the booking window. That is common at the busiest SENTRI centers, and it is exactly when monitoring is worth it, because the next opening there will be a cancellation.
Can I get an earlier SENTRI interview at a busy center?
Yes. Cancellations regularly create earlier appointments even at centers showing nothing today, but they can disappear within minutes. TTPRadar monitors your chosen centers and texts you when one opens — start SENTRI alerts.
Can I interview at a different SENTRI center than the one nearest me?
