On 7 November 2026, 97 of the 115 Global Entry enrollment centers we scanned had open interview appointments, and 14 had none. The median wait to the next slot was 2 days. The average hides a wide spread, so where you book matters.
The data is TTPRadar's own, taken from the scheduler on the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs portal in a daily scan generated at 06:00 ET.
The headline numbers
- Centers scanned: 115
- Centers with open interview appointments: 97
- Centers with none: 14
- Median wait to the next slot: 2 days
- Centers with same-day slots: 8
A median describes the middle, not the ends. The ends are where the planning problems live.
Where same-day slots existed
Eight centers showed 7 November itself as their next slot:
- Wilmington DE (BAL-FO)
- Miami International Airport
- West Palm Beach
- Atlanta International
- Guam International Airport
- Cincinnati
- Houlton ME/Woodstock
- Grand Portage MN
The list mixes major airports with remote border locations.
How far apart the fastest and slowest are
On the day, the fastest centers were at 0 days and the slowest at 74. Same program, same application, same interview, and more than ten weeks between the best and worst case.
| Center | Wait on 7 Nov scan | Next slot shown |
|---|---|---|
| Eagle Pass TX | 74 days | 20 Jan 2027 |
| Portland OR | 73 days | 19 Jan 2027 |
| Del Rio TX | 47 days | 24 Dec 2026 |
These were the three longest waits in the scan. They are a snapshot of one morning, not a standing figure. Waits change daily, so check the live Global Entry wait times board before you plan around any of them.
Big-metro centers with long waits
Five centers serving large metro areas sat in a band of 37 to 42 days on the scan:
| Center | Wait on 7 Nov scan | Next slot shown |
|---|---|---|
| New Jersey Metro Area Mobile EC | 42 days | 19 Dec |
| Cleveland | 39 days | 16 Dec |
| San Francisco | 39 days | 16 Dec |
| Phoenix Sky Harbor | 38 days | 15 Dec |
| Bradley International CT | 37 days | 14 Dec |
These are centers many applicants pick because they are close to home. The nearest center is not always the one with the shortest line.
What this means for a trip before the holidays
If you are flying before mid December, the next slots at these five centers fell on 14 December or later on this scan. The same applies to Del Rio, Portland and Eagle Pass. At those centers, the scheduler showed nothing early enough for an early or mid December trip.
The practical move is to widen your search. Check the full list of enrollment centers we monitor and weigh a short drive or flight against a five to six week wait.
Two caveats. A slot at a distant center only helps if you can get there, and we cannot promise any appointment will still be open when you look. Availability also says nothing about approval: the scan measures scheduler availability at in-person enrollment centers, not how long CBP takes to process an application.
Other routes and how to watch the board
The enrollment center interview is the standard route. CBP also offers Enrollment on Arrival, a separate option that this scan does not cover. Read the CBP page for its conditions before you count on it.
If the center you want is full, you can set up free browser alerts to watch for openings instead of refreshing the scheduler by hand. TTPRadar also offers paid text (SMS) alerts. For the official list of centers, see CBP's enrollment center page. TTPRadar is independent and not affiliated with CBP or DHS.
